Bought in California but it was originally from Texas. As such it has no rust. When the previous owners bought it, they had a Prevost dealer redo the front end and replace the upper and lower windshield. They put new rubber on it before I bought it as well.
Since then, I have only taken the bus out 10 times and never in the winter. I had big plans for the remodel but started with the engine and chassis.
What I had R&D truck (Prevost certified tech in Avon, MA) replace with genuine Prevost parts:
Bypass Webasto system
All new air bags
All new shocks
All new bushings
AC/Heat fully functional
Aux A/C fully functional
New radiator
New intercooler
New drivers side glass
New emergency hatches
Fuel pump gasket
What I replaced with Prevost/Detroit Parts:
New alternator
New aux drive
New Oil Fill
New oil pan gasket
New fuel lines from tank to cooler and cooler to engine
All new filters
Multi-function level
New batteries
New Prevost parts I did not get a chance to install:
Superior gear drive (original has a small leak)
Radiator clutch (original is bolted on high)
These parts are worth around $4,500
